Cassie,
born in July 1990, came to Steiners' CATS in 1994 as a pre-owned feline. Previous homes
were provided by a family at church and Shawna's sister Melissa. Cassie--also
known as Kissipoofuless or just Kissi--preferred
to be held in someone's arms when riding in the car and loved to have the
sides of her face combed or scratched. The nick in her ear
came from successful cancer surgery.

Allicat,
more commonly known as Googlie Girl, was an outdoor kitty who appeared in
Melissa's old neighborhood and immediately endeared herself to Melissa and then
to Jim. The vet estimated that Googlie was about a year old when she joined
Steiners' CATS after Christmas in 1998. She enjoys sitting on mom's lap and
curling up in a cat bed and growls when harassed by the youngsters. |
